Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Raj. Over more than 20 years of teaching at some of the top schools in the UK, I've helped thousands of students boost their grades and racked up 20,000 hours of classroom teaching. A significant proportion of my students have studied at Oxford, Cambridge and the LSE and then moved on to City financial careers, entrepreneurship and public institutions such as the Bank of England and the BBC.

Econ Booster's objective is to equip students with the tools to accelerate their progress and reach their full potential. Economics demands a diverse skill set, from core knowledge to developed analysis, application, evaluation and judgement. I will provide you with the knowledge and abilities to excel. My process includes focused revision, detailed feedback, and frequent questioning. These methods will quickly boost your grades and guide you along the shortest path to success.

Some nitty gritty:
-
Tuition requests are prioritised by proximity, since tuitions are face-to-face. Ideally, you will be located within or near the zone between Golders Green Station, Finchley Central Station and Hendon Central Station.
-
I do not offer online tuition. Face to face allows me to offer you more personalised interaction, including the ability to read non-verbal cues and provide immediate feedback, fostering a deeper understanding of the material. Additionally, face to face helps build a stronger, long-term tutor-student relationship, which will enhance your motivation.
-
For students considering regular weekly tuition, an initial free 30 minutes consultation is offered, so that I can get to meet you and a parent/guardian, identify your goals and assess your current level (through verbal questioning on a range of economics topics). This would also enable you to determine whether I am a good fit for your long-term tuition requirements.
-
Materials used during the lesson will be uploaded to a private Google folder for you to review whenever you wish to.
-
You must have a laptop or iPad with you during the lesson and have a functional personal Google account.
-
Free Email and Google Chat support is available between tuitions, on any topic/concept/exam paper tactic covered so far. No formality - message me for support whenever you need to.
-
An adult (parent/guardian/older sibling) must be somewhere at home during tuition.
